Cities
The cities we cover, end to end.
The cities we cover share a county and a school system but very little else. Each has its own pricing logic, its own pace, its own architectural vocabulary. The guides below get specific.
-
Boulder, CO
The Flatirons rise behind town, Pearl Street runs through the middle, and the 1967 open space vote capped growth permanently. A small city with a remarkable density of trails, restaurants, and research institutions, priced accordingly.
-
Erie, CO
One of Colorado's fastest-growing cities, straddling Weld and Boulder Counties. A historic Old Town core, thoughtfully executed master-planned communities, and unobstructed Front Range views from elevated western streets.
-
Lafayette, CO
An old coal mining town turned into one of the more interesting independent restaurant scenes on the Front Range. Twenty minutes from Boulder, with the Coal Creek Trail running through and Waneka Lake as the centerpiece.
-
Longmont, CO
Boulder County's largest city, with a brick-and-trees Old Town core, a food and arts scene that punches above its size, and a value-to-quality ratio the rest of the county can't match.
-
Louisville, CO
A Main Street that stayed genuinely local, with one of the region's strongest school systems and a Flatirons overlook on the western edge. Boulder is fifteen minutes west, Denver twenty-five east, and the market here doesn't have soft years.
-
Mountains & Foothills
The corridor west of Boulder where the elevation climbs and the lots get bigger, from Eldorado Springs at the canyon mouth to Nederland at 8,228 feet. Buyers here chose to live where the city ends.
-
Superior, CO
A planned community success story still being written. Rock Creek as the flagship, the new McCaslin downtown adding a walkable mixed-use core, and twenty minutes to both Boulder and Denver from the same address.
-
Surrounding Communities
The Front Range addresses just outside Boulder County's six core cities, from Niwot's Second Avenue to Golden's Clear Creek to the northern Front Range value corridor. Worth knowing about, particularly for buyers willing to widen the search.
